Mallards Dropping Through the Pin Oaks
This complex piece (BELOW) includes two-25’ Pin oak branches emanating from the gable wall. These branches, with their remaining fall leaves, are mounted high in the vaulted ceiling. Five mallards, two hens and three drakes, navigate their way through the branches targeting their drop to the lodge floor below. They are made of copper on stainless steel armature and are all unique in shape and position based on their approach trajectory.
