Signs and Lettering
This mural was a project in the new library at Augusta Elementary School, Augusta, Missouri.
Mural design and paint by Kimberly Alsop of Augusta, Missouri. Kim is an accomplished painter, and mosaic artist.
She has painted murals in several schools both here and in the greater Saint Louis Metro.

Kim’s vision was to carry the painted vine into the lettering where it would become copper as it passed through the blocks.

These lettering blocks are 2’ x 3’
Copper “bookworm” in the vine-work. The kids really got a kick out of that.
