Candle Shrouds and Lamp Shades
We have made several of these. They incorporate Repousse, Flame Patina, MIG Welding, and Plasma Cutting. This piece was made by Kelly as a Christmas gift in the family name draw.
The work is done when the sheet is flat. It then gets rolled and the seam is splined together.
She added a lid with similar pattern. It casts a beautiful pattern on the ceiling and walls. Not seen in this low grade photo, you’ll just have to believe us. The stand she made of found objects -an old axle with the mounts and pulleys.
